The invention relates to a method for preparing tungsten trioxide by utilizing wet ammonium paratungsate.

The method comprises the following steps of: heating and decomposing the wet ammonium paratungsate to obtain tungsten trioxide. According to the method for preparing the tungsten trioxide by utilizing the wet ammonium paratungsate provided by the embodiment of the invention, the wet ammonium paratungsate (APT) is directly placed into a rotary kiln to be calcined into the tungsten trioxide, so that the drying and packaging procedures can be omitted, the process flow can be shortened, and the production cost of the product can be reduced.
