Tungsten Alloy Rod Production Process

The present invention provides a process for the production of high heavy tungsten alloy rod material. Specific steps are as follows:

1) Powder mixing;

2) Powder was added to the molten mixture of the plasticizer, the plasticizer is a white wax having a melting point of 48-56 ℃ added in an amount of 4-7% by weight;

3) Powder extrusion molding, extrusion temperature is 35-50 ℃;

4) Conducted to sinter removal of plasticizer and pre-sintering, when the removal of the plasticizer with the furnace to heat up, after more than 900 ℃, holding more than one hour;

5) liquid-phase sintering, the sintering temperature of 1480-1540 ℃;

(6) Vacuum treatment.

The present invention provides a process for the production of high-density tungsten alloy rods, which can be large quantities of continuous production, productivity and material utilization is high, stable quality and low cost.
