Cs0.32WO3 particles, also known as cesium tungsten bronze particles, may be used to prepare thermal insulation dispersion, which can be used to produce thermal insulation materials such as thermal insulation films, and thus be applied to architectural glass. As the properties of the raw material cesium tungsten bronze powder directly affect the performance of the dispersion, and even the performance of the obtained heat insulating glass. Therefore, experts have conducted research on the preparation of cesium tungsten bronze nano particles.

Studies have shown that raw materials, reaction temperatures and many other reaction conditions have an important influence on the transparent thermal insulation properties of nano grain size cesium tungsten bronze. Therefore, some experts have used tungstic acid as a raw material to synthesize cesium tungsten bronze nanopowder with transparent heat insulation properties at a high temperature of 350°C. Some experts also used WCl6 and CsOH as raw materials to synthesize Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles with excellent transparent thermal insulation properties at 240°C. In order to realize industrial application of cesium tungsten bronze, using low-cost materials and low reaction temperature is advantageous, but the performance Cs0.32WO3 synthesized is less desirable. The heat treatment of the synthesized Cs0.32WO3 powder with hydrogen can also achieve better transparent heat insulation effect, but the risk of hydrogen explosion is constrained by its wide application.
