CsxWO3 Applied for Thermal Insulation Coating

CsxWO3 may be applied for producing thermal insulation coating. And the obtained coating is more and more widely applied in the production of heat-insulating film for building glass window. Therefore, the photochromic property or self-regulating intelligent shielding function of near-infrared of cesium tungsten bronze is the key research direction of manufacturers, scholars or experts.

As only CsxWO3 powder with excellent near-infrared shielding property can produce transparent thermal insulation coating with excellent thermal insulation performance, and therefore can be applied to heat insulating architectural glass. The following mainly introduces the test results of the photochromic or near-infrared shielding function of the new thermal insulation product.

After testing, the experts found that after 30 minutes of UV illumination, the resulting architectural glass had the highest light transmission at 37nm. And it has the lowest light transmittance at a wavelength of 1100nm in the near-infrared region of 780nm-1100nm, which is 25%. Compared with the highest transmittance in the visible light region, the transmittance at 1100nm in the near-infrared decreases by VT (%) = 12%.
