CsxWO3 Applied for Near-infrared Shielding Material

CsxWO3 for near-infrared shielding material has good near-infrared absorbance property. In other words, the near-infrared shielding performance of such material is related to the Cs concentration. Some experts have carried out UV-visible-near-infrared diffuse reflectance absorption spectroscopy tests on CsxWO3 powder obtained with a raw material Cs/W ratio of 0.1-0.6.
Experts found that the near-infrared absorbance (near-infrared shielding performance) of the sample increases with the increase of Cs concentration when the Cs/W ratio is in the range of 0.1-0.5. And the maximum value is 1.85 when the Cs/W ratio is 0.5. But it decreases when the Cs/W ratio is 0.6. Experts also found that the near-infrared shielding performance is consistent with the change trend of the Cs/W ratio of raw materials and the change of crystallinity. With the increase of Cs amount, the free carrier content in the cesium tungsten bronze structure also increases gradually. The higher the crystallinity of the obtained Cs0.32WO3, the more complete the crystal structure.
