Inner Mongolia: rare earth exports increase in volume this year, a fall in price

Recently, the reporter learned from Hohhot Customs interview this year, the export volume of rare earth products in Inner increase in volume and a drop in price situation presented, which reflects the global rare earth market in the doldrums.
 
Statistics show that the first five months of this year, total exports of rare earth products in Inner Mongolia 22.075 million tons, an increase of 26.7%, accounting for 20.7 percent of total exports in the same period of rare earth products; exports amounted to 72.421 million yuan, down 16.3% accounting for 8.9 per cent over the same period the total value of exports of rare earths in China. Estimates show that in the first five months, the average export price of rare earth products in Inner Mongolia 33,000 yuan per ton, down by 32.7%.
 
May is the most this year, exports of rare earth products in Inner Mongolia in January, exported 621.6 tons, an increase of 44.2%, growth of 7.9%; export average price of 29,000 yuan per ton, down 27.5%, down 12.1%.
