China Tungsten Price Increased on the Rise in Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for December

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten price was in the upward trend in the week ended on Friday December 11, 2020 as average tungsten forecast prices from Ganzhou Tungsten and offers from listed companies rose slightly, boosting market confidence. 

The demand remained cautious sentiment, but started to accept the current raw material prices as they needed to stock up raw materials with the end of the year. Therefore, market inquiry became active and transactions increased slightly. In the short term, insiders still need to follow-up the demand and pay attention to latest news of the international coronavirus situation and trading environment. 

China’s Xianglu Tungsten released its offers for the first half of December: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $13,076.9 per tone, up $384.6 per ton compared with the second half of November; 55% scheelite concentrate price was $12,923 per tone, up $384.6 per ton; APT price was $224.3 per mtu, up $6.1 per mtu.
