China Ferro Molybdenum Prices - March 20, 2020

Molybdenum oxide, concentrate and ferro molybdenum prices in China declined slightly in the week ended on Friday March 20, 2020 when transactions were hardly concluded in the market. 

In the molybdenum concentrate market, due to weak downstream demand, the mentality of molybdenum mining companies is unstable. In order to withdraw funds, the prices of molybdenum concentrates have fallen, but recently, due to the unsuccessful operation of most overseas manufacturers, there is still hope for the market outlook.

In the ferromolybdenum market, the trading activity is not good, and there is a big difference between the supply and demand negotiations. Under the background of many uncertain factors, sellers are reluctant to sell products at low prices while buyers seek for lower prices. the prices in the molybdenum chemical and its products market have remained sideways, as current policies and news have calmed down and end-customer demand is difficult to boost.
