Tungsten Concentrate Prices in China Are Supported by Tight Supply

Opening this week, the tungsten prices in China remain stable when most market participants are paying attention to the forecast average prices from tungsten institutions and offer levels from listed companies. The market prices are expected to stabilize before the holiday of Chinese New Year. 

Sport resources have been reduced because some mines and smelting factories stop production to undergo repair. Moreover, downstream factories are stocking up and raw material manufacturers have strong rised mentality. As a result, tungsten concentrate prices tend to rise to $13,043.5/t. But low trading activity in the terminal side also limits market transactions.
