Tungsten Concentrate Prices Showed Downward Adjustment in China

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

The tungsten market was weak in China in the week began on October 21 due to persistent weakness in the demand side and increased supply of tungsten raw materials. Offers in the market was in the chaos. 

Tungsten concentrate prices showed downward adjustment to $13,043.5/t as the resources became increased but purchasers remained cautious. With the influence of uncertain factors, like cost, demand, inventories and economy, ammonium paratungstate (APT) price dropped to $229.3/mtu. Tungsten powder price dropped below $33.4/kg pressed by thin trading of terminal alloy and product markets. Market participants now mainly take a watchful stance.
