Praseodymium Neodymium Oxide Price - June 14, 2019

China rare earth price continued its upward trend in the week ended on Friday June 14 because reduced imports of Burma mines and the country’s control in the industry made market confidence keep firm.

Analysts noted that dysprosium, terbium and other medium-molecular-weight rare earth elements still have space to rise on expectation of tight supply while praseodymium, neodymium and other light rare earth elements faced risks as their prices were at a relatively high level rised by market speculation. The late market trend needs to pay closer attention to the supply and demand.

In the news, in response to the issue of the decline in rare earth exports due to China’s intensified control, the Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Gao Feng responded at a regular press conference on June 13. He expressed that the fluctuations in rare earth exports were the result of market changes and China has not adopted new management measures.
