China Tungsten Prices Remained Stable on Low Trading Activity

Tungsten prices in China have been maintained stability since January due to low buying interests of downstream limiting the price rise. For the raw material market, most companies are optimistic about the outlook on stricter environmental protection policy, approaching of Two Sessions and controlled production capacity of mines. So sellers are reluctant to sell at low prices. 

In the ammonium paratungstate (APT) market, market confidence is supported by the guide prices of large enterprises. But terminal demand has been remained weak with thin market trading and low trading activity. Smelting factories still take a watchful stance.
