Molybdenum market quotation in China: ferro molybdenum and molybdenum concentrate prices rise slightly while molybdenum powder price is unchanged from last week.

Last week, the new round of steel tenders raised prices and quantity of ferro molybdenum, which boosted market confidence. In addition, mines gradually stopped production and the supply of spot resources became tight. so the transaction prices were raised slightly.

However, with the heavy wait-and-see atmosphere of the market and almost finished replenishments of downstream, market trading continues to be thin. In the short term, market participants will take a watchful stance.
