Tungsten Alloy Cube

Tungsten alloy cube is a kind of massive product of tungsten alloy, which has high density ( 6-18.5g/cm ), good compressive strength, oxidation resistance, good thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. 

The brittleness of pure tungsten is very high. When tungsten alloy cube is processed, nickel and iron are added into the composite material, and molten material is used in the liquid phase sintering process. The combination of nickel iron and tungsten particles ensures high ductility of tungsten alloy cube. Its advantage is their excellent machinability and high load capacity. In addition, tungsten alloy cube has good physical and chemical properties, such as high density, hardness, and high temperature corrosion, etc. The density can reach 18.5g/cm3, two times of that of the  steel material, which makes tungsten alloy have a great advantage in the counterweight field.

Tungsten alloy cube applications mainly includes two aspects: counterweight and military application.
 
Compared with lead alloy, tungsten alloy do not harm the environment. Therefore, tungsten alloy are widely used in counterweight. As a counterweight, tungsten alloy cube can compensate for swing, weight shift, unbalance and vibration, and form or change the center of gravity to ensure optimum balance, such as aircraft counterweight, submarine counterweight, race car counterweight, weapon counterweight, and sports equipment counterweight, etc.
 
In military, tungsten alloy cube can be used as armor-piercing core filling material. Armor-piercing core is the main body of projectile, which is the key part. Tungsten alloy, a dense metal with high density and high hardness, is the main material for making hard core ammunition. Because tungsten alloy cube has very good tensile strength, it can greatly improve the performance of armor-piercing projectile.
 
Tungsten alloy can also be used for weapons counterweight to reduce the recoil of heavy weapons to ensure the accuracy of shooting will not be affected when the barrel had been hit.
