Tungsten Carbide Clamped Insert

Tungsten carbide clamped insert is kind of CNC indexable insert and it can be used continuously by indexing without regrinding.Tungsten carbide clamped insert is also known as CNC insert or indexable insert. Due to it has high cutting efficiency, durability, and high-temperature resistance, it can be widely used in metal turning, milling, cutting groove and thread turning. There are some advantages of tungsten carbide clamped insert:

1. Stable and reliable cutting property, in the process of CNC, except the average of indicators, the reliable indicator Tp should be given (usually specified Tp≥0.9);
2. Chips can be easily controlled, when cutting plastic metal, control the chip is not wound on CNC blade, workpiece and process equipment, control chip does not splash, do not affect the cutting fluid injection, do not affect the targeting and delivery of parts, do not scratch the machined surface, the chips easy to clean;
3. With high precision, small changes in dimensions, and blade holder and blade repeatedly handling accuracy and stability can be maintained;
4. Quick replacement and size presetting, has control and adjust the size or function with automatic tool wear compensation device, in order to reduce downtime for tool change adjustment.

According to the difference in structure and application, tungsten carbide clamped insert can be divided into:
1. Solid type: Grinding material made from a single piece, can be ground into the required type according to different application;
2. Inlayed typed: It can be divided into clip-type and welded-type, and the clip-type can be also specifically divided into indexable and non-indexable type;
3. Internal cooling: Coolant fluid is transmitted to the knife inside the nozzle holes injected into the site of the cutting edge through the spindle or cutter;
4. Special types: Reversible tapping, and other composite tools.
