Comparison between domestic and foreign beneficiation process and equipments

 

China has a world-class beneficiation technology of China's large wolframite and scheelite mines in the world, but there was still a gap between the recovery of scheelite and other countries, of which the main reasons are:

 

1. Foreign resources of scheelite has a higher quality, and ore’s grade is high, ore sorting is easy.

 

2. Scheelite recycling abroad uses dressing and smelting joint process with low-grade coarse grain tungsten ore, generally 15-30%, the recovery rate of dressing and smelting is 90%, which is worth learning for Chinese enterprises.

Tungsten ore abroad also has some advantages in concentrate quality, labor productivity, technical equipment and the level of automation.

 

3. It’s common to use a high efficient grinding, gravity selection and automation equipments abroad. There is almost no application of new equipments in tungsten mines and wolframite in particular in China, most of the wolframite mine are using outdated processing equipments.

 

4. The level of automatic control in Chinese tungsten mine is low, the majority of mines do not use automatic detection and control of beneficiation processes. Foreign tungsten concentrators have not yet realized the overall automation, but more generally to implement key parts of instrumentation and automation.
