Tungsten Ore has a high EMC value of 16,384 EMC, which is about twice the value of  one diamond.Tungsten Ore can be encountered in any block height where diamonds are found, and although it sometimes occurs as a single block, you can always  find a small cluster of two or even three. There have been rumors of people finding veins of up to six tungsten ore. Tungsten is very rare, in most cases, found only once or twice during a long mining expedition.

 

Tungsten ore is most commonly used in the Equivalent Exchange mod in an Energy Condenser or a Transmutation Tablet where you can create materials you need such as diamonds or gold.
