A Preparation Method of APT

Place 100L of ammonia and tungsten-containing solution (containing 3.5 g/L NH3, 45.2 g/L W and 50L deionized water) in a heatable 200L stirred reactor. Under stirring, add into 200 kg of ammonium paratungstate decahydrate. Then, treat the suspension at 85 °C for 3 h with stirring. When the molar ratio of NH3: W is 0.83: 1, the NH3 concentration in the liquid phase is 3.5 g/L. The pH at room temperature is 6.9. The mass ratio of solid to aqueous solution is 1.14: 1. Filter the suspension, and washed with 10 L of deionized water, and finally dried at 100 °C to obtain 190 kg (equivalent to a yield of 98.1%) of APT.
