The tungsten carbide graver can be made of carbide materials such as YG8 - has good wear resistance, hardness of 8-9, and density of 14.5-15.9. What should be noted is that although cemented carbide graver is high in hardness and good in sharpness, its toughness is not as good as that of white steel graver. If the carbide graver falls on the cement floor, the blade directly contacted with the cement floor will break. Therefore, when using it, you should avoid dropping the carbide graver on hard ground such as cement and ceramic tiles to avoid damage to the blade.
