Some experts have prepared WO3-TiO2 composite film photocatalyst on a porous titanium sheet by the sol-gel method, and studied the activity of the obtained thin-film composite photocatalyst through the photocatalytic degradation reaction of methyl orange. The results showed that x (W)> = 0.5%, the number of coating layers was 3, and the activity of the WO3-TiO2 thin film photocatalyst calcined at 500 °C for 1 h was the highest, which was 96.7% higher than that of pure TiO2 thin film. At this time, the TiO2 supported on the porous titanium sheet exists in two crystal forms of anatase and rutile, which indicates that the optimal W incorporation can significantly reduce the phase transition temperature of TiO2.
