Tungsten Disulfide Used in Astronomical Telescope

With good lubricating performance, tungsten disulfide has become the preferred material for mechanical lubrication. 1. Eyepiece

The eyepiece affects the efficiency of astronomical telescope. The performance of astronomical telescope can be exerted well with the proper eyepiece. It consists of an eye lens, which is closest to the eyeball, and a field lens that is close to the object. The latter determines the field of view of the eyepiece.

2. Finderscope

The finderscope, a small telescope with low power, is used to observe the celestial bodies. Usually, a cross line is attached to the finderscope for aiming. And the optical axis of the finderscope must be adjusted to be parallel to the telescope. The finderscope with magnification of 6x and les diameter of 30 mm is the most friendly used finderscope.

3. Filter

More surface details can be found by using this accessory for planetary observation. The filter with medium density can reduce the luminosity of the moon surface, which provides us a comfortable experience of moon observation.

4. Barlow Lens

Barlow lens is equipped between the objective lens and the eyepiece, which is used to increase the magnification. The commonly used Barlow lens will increase the focal length of objective lens by 2-3 times, up to 5 times. This is an accessory that is easy to use. However, a cheap Barlow mirror may have a low image quality.

5. Star Diagonal

It is usually difficult for us to observe the sky coverage near the zenith. The optical axis of the telescope can be reflected 90 degrees by the prism on star diagonal. As reflecting mirror is light, it is usually applied on the large telescope. And compared with the prism, the image quality of reflecting mirror is higher.
