Tungsten Disulfide Lubricating Materials Upgrading

Tungsten disulfide lubricating material is a very good new energy-saving material for reducing wear. It can be used not only in general lubrication conditions, but also in some harsh working environments such as high temperature, low temperature, high load, high vacuum, radiation line and corrosive medium. It can be powder state or lubrication. Oil, grease and graphite, metal powder, plastics and other materials are mixed to make composite materials.

The researchers optimized the synthesis scheme of tungsten disulfide lubricating materials. The steps were weighed according to the process of sulfur, tungsten, silicon carbide and catalyst. The proportion of sulfur weight to tungsten powder weight was 34-100%, the proportion of silicon carbide weight to tungsten powder weight was 0.5-30%, and the proportion of catalyst weight to tungsten powder weight was 0.05-0. 5%.

(1)Silicon carbide suspension of 5-8g/L, tungsten powder of 20-30g/L, urea or OP emulsifier of 0.5-1.5% of the total suspension as dispersant, control pH value < 5, mix them at 25-65 ℃ and atmospheric pressure for 0.5-2 hours, so that tungsten is coated on the surface of silicon carbide;

(2)Urea and absolute ethanol were mixed into precursor solution according to 1: (3-5), followed by catalyst and sulfur, and stirred for 10-20 minutes at room temperature.

(3)Mixing (1) and (2) and aging for 1-2 hours, vacuum suction was carried out. The filtered mixture was dried in an argon-filled oven. The temperature was controlled at 70-102 ℃ and the drying time was 10-100 minutes. The uniformly distributed mixed powder was obtained.

Tungsten disulfide lubricating material can make motor work more stable and rectifier characteristics, motor work more efficiently, carbon brush and commutator friction loss rate is smaller, life is longer, and noise can be suppressed. At the same time, it can simplify the subsequent preparation process of carbon brushes and greatly improve the preparation efficiency of carbon brushes.
