A New Mineral Processing Method to Tungsten-Tin Ore

Tungsten-tin ore is brittle and easy to over-grind during the grinding process, which causes some tungsten-tin ore to be muddy during the grinding process. It is difficult to re-elect the fine-grained tungsten-tin ore. At the same time, both black tungsten ore and cassiterite are minerals that are difficult to float, which are more demanding on flotation reagents and flotation conditions. The flotation process recovers tungsten tin ore flotation reagents, which consumes a lot of money and has high production costs and not suitable for flotation.
Aiming at the low recovery rate of fine-grained wolframite and cassiterite in the conventional beneficiation process, some scholars have proposed a mineral processing method, a fine-grained tungsten-tin associated ore dressing process. The main contents are as follows:
1) crushing the secondary ore part of the quartz vein type tungsten-tin associated ore in the process of crushing and grinding, or the tailings part containing the polymetallic ore flotation sulfide ore to a particle size of less than 0.03 mm;
2) Re-election enrichment: using at least one of a shaker, a centrifugal concentrator, a Nielsen concentrator, a Falcon concentrator, a hydrocyclone, and a spiral chute for re-election and tailing, the gangue throwing amount is 60 %-85%;
3) Reverse flotation desiliconization: the adjusting agent is 20-500g/t of sodium carbonate solution with 1-5% mass concentration, 10-200g/t of starch solution with 1-5% mass concentration, and the concentration of collector is mass concentration. It is a 1-5% ether amine solution, a 1-5% by weight dodecylamine solution, and a 1-5% by weight octadecylamine solution, in an amount of 1-100 g/t. , the number of flotation is 1-3 times;
4) Magnetic separation of tungsten-tin ore: magnetic field strength of magnetic separator is 400KA/m-900KA/m, magnetic separation concentrate is black tungsten ore, and magnetic separation tailings is cassiterite concentrate.
Etheramines and mixed amine collectors have a good sorting effect on the flotation of quartz and feldspar. These agents have poor collection performance for tungsten-tin ore. Therefore, the application of reverse flotation quartz feldspar It is feasible to go to the tungsten tin ore sorting process. Compared with the prior art, the new idea adopts the process of re-election and tailing pre-selection, reverse flotation desulfurization and desiliconization, magnetic separation of wolframite and cassiterite, and improving the black tungsten ore and cassiterite under the premise of ensuring the concentrate grade. The recovery rate can be applied to the comprehensive recovery of tungsten-tin in the tungsten-tin associated ore and non-ferrous metal associated tungsten-tin ore. It is a higher-efficiency mineral processing process and less agents used.
