X-ray, also known as " Röntgen ray", is a kind of highly penetrating ray discovered by german physicist Wilhelm Röntgen by chance on November 8, 1895. Roentgen used X-ray to shoot a finger bone photo of his wife, which is the first X-ray picture of human skeleton series in human history that shows the outlines of the maniphalanx and the wedding ring on the third finger of his wife. X-ray is immediately put into use in the medical field as soon as being discovered. Since different body tissues and organs have different absorbing abilities of X rays, and the intensity of X rays after penetrating different parts of the body are also different, so it is widely used in radio examination and X ray photography which can clearly observe the degree of fracture, tuberculosis lesions, the size and location of tumor in the body as well as the location of foreign body in vivo. X-ray can reduce white blood cell in the blood, leading to the human immune function decline.
