Barium tungsten electrode is a high-performance cathode material with tungsten as the matrix and barium added. It is usually prepared by impregnation, where the active barium compound is impregnated into a porous tungsten matrix. Barium tungsten electrode combines the high temperature stability of tungsten with the efficient electron emission ability of barium. It performs well in strong electric fields and high frequency environments and is widely used in lighting, electric vacuum devices, lasers and plasma equipment, such as high-intensity gas discharge lamps, xenon flash lamps, radar magnetrons, satellite communication traveling wave tubes, medical accelerators, etc.

According to 'GB/T 3648-2024 Ferrotungsten', the physical state standard of ferrotungsten is: ferrotungsten is delivered in block form, with a particle size range of 10mm-130mm, and the amount of particles smaller than 10mm×10mm should not exceed 5% of the total batch. If the purchaser has special requirements for the particle size, the supply and demand parties shall negotiate separately. There should be no visually visible non-metallic inclusions on the surface of ferrotungsten.

Cut-resistant tungsten wire is a high-performance metal wire with tungsten as the main component. It has the high hardness, high strength and high temperature resistance of tungsten. It is strengthened by adding rare earth elements such as rhenium or carbides, which significantly improves its wear resistance and mechanical cutting resistance. Cut-resistant tungsten wire is not easy to break during repeated cutting or friction. It is widely used in EDM electrode wire, anti-cutting gloves, photovoltaic silicon wafer cutting and other scenarios, especially suitable for high temperature and high stress industrial environments.

According to 'GB/T 3648-2024 Ferrotungsten', ferrotungsten is divided into four grades: FeW80-A, FeW80-B, FeW80-C, and FeW70 according to the different tungsten and impurity contents. The tungsten content of FeW80 is 75-85%, and the tungsten content of FeW70 is 65-75%. Ferrotungsten is based on 70% tungsten content.
