[Know Tungsten] Tungsten Bucking Bar for Shipbuilding

Tungsten Bucking Bar for Shipbuilding

The tungsten bucking bar is used in the riveting process in shipbuilding, primarily as a support tool during the installation of fasteners. It is placed on the back of the rivet to counteract the impact force from the rivet gun or hammer, forming a solid rivet head while reducing vibration and recoil, ensuring the strength of the connection. Tungsten alloy possesses characteristics such as high density, high hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for the high-strength riveting demands in shipbuilding involving steel, aluminum alloy, or mixed structures. Additionally, its environmentally friendly and non-polluting properties comply with international maritime environmental requirements.
