According to the Baotou Industry and Information Bureau, from January to February 2025, the industrial added value of large-scale enterprises in Baotou City grew by 16.0% year-on-year, an acceleration of 1.7 percentage points compared to the full year of the previous year. According to the Baotou Industry and Information Bureau, from January to February 2025, the industrial added value of large-scale enterprises in Inner Mongolia grew by 5.8% year-on-year. By major industry categories, the mining sector saw a 2.5% increase in added value, manufacturing grew by 10.3%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas, and water rose by 7.1%. In terms of specific products, raw coal output reached 207 million tons, up 2.0%; power generation totaled 135.98 billion kilowatt-hours, up 1.2%. Notably, renewable energy generation amounted to 41.35 billion kilowatt-hours, surging by 35.5%, while the production of monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, and rare earth compounds increased by 43.5%, 47.8%, and 9.5%, respectively.
