Global Tungsten Production Exceeds 80,000 Tons in 2024

According to China Tungsten Online, data from the United States Geological Survey show that by the end of 2024, global tungsten reserves were about 4.6 million tons, up about 4.55% year-on-year; among them, China had the highest tungsten reserves, at 2.4 million tons, accounting for 52.17% of the world's total reserves, up about 4% from the end of 2023. Vietnam's tungsten reserves increased most significantly, increasing by nearly 90% to 140,000 tons.

In 2024, global tungsten production was about 81,000 tons, down about 1.89% year-on-year; among them, China's tungsten production was the highest, at 67,000 tons, up about 1.52% year-on-year, accounting for 81.48% of the world's total production.
