Tungsten Oxide Nanoparticles Applied For Transparent Thermal Insulation Nanopowder

Tungsten oxide nanoparticles can be said to be a type of transparent thermal insulation nanopowder. That is because the heat insulating materials produced by using tungsten oxide as raw material has high transparency. So, how tungsten oxide raw material can be prepared? What effect does the reaction time have on the prepared tungsten oxide phase?

The tungsten oxide nano particles can be prepared by a solvothermal method. Some experts have adopted this method to prepare tungsten oxide (WO3-X) using ethanol as the alcohol solvent at different times (1h, 6h, 12h, 24h, 30h). Wherein, the molar concentration of the solution is 15mM, the reaction temperature is 180°C. The product was subjected to XRD diffraction analysis, and its XRD diffraction pattern was as shown in the above figure. From the diffraction pattern, it can be seen that the XRD diffraction spectrum of the obtained product is consistent with the standard powder diffraction XRD pattern when the reaction time is 1h, 6h, 12h, 24h. The tungsten oxide powder is of W18O49 phase. While when the reaction time is increased to 30h, the WO3 phase appears in the product.
