3D quasi-vertical WO3•0.33H2O nanosheet film can be prepared by electrodeposition method, that is, the hydrated tungsten trioxide nanosheet prepared by a simple green solution method is formed on the conductive substrate, which can solve the limitation of the hydrothermal method on the film substrate.

According to experts, the electrochromic thin film of tungsten trioxide nano material has a light modulation range of 66%, a coloring time and response time of 16 and 3.5 seconds, respectively, and a coloring efficiency of 53cm2/C. Through this work, not only a high-performance, low-cost electrochromic device is obtained, but also a new method for constructing a porous structural film is provided, and the preparation method of such a quasi-vertical structure can be applied to a stretchable device in the future, to prevent the film from cracking during stretching. And therefore, there will be more and more devices applying nano particle size tungsten trioxide.
