Nano Ammonium Metatungstate Applied for Transparent Thermal Insulation Material

Nano ammonium metatungstate can be used as a raw material for preparing a cesium tungsten bronze transparent thermal insulation material such as transparent heat insulating film. Some experts have prepared a thermal insulation material with a molar ratio of Cs:W:Cl=0.33:1:0.03, and produced a transparent insulating film using the prepared powder as raw material, for applying in architectural glass. The specific experimental steps are as follows:

1.0 10g of ammonium metatungstate was prepared into a 30 wt% aqueous solution, stirring uniformly to obtain a transparent liquid A. Add 0.07g of ammonium chloride into the transparent liquid A, and the mixture was uniformly stirred to obtain a transparent liquid A'.

2.0 2.2g of cesium carbonate was prepared into a 50wt% aqueous solution and stirred evenly to obtain a transparent liquid B. Further, the liquid B was gradually dropped into the liquid A' while maintaining the stirring of the liquid A' to obtain a transparent mixed liquid C.

3.0 The mixed liquid was heated at 145°C to obtain a powder product. And the powder was heated at 550°C for 20 minutes under a reduced atmosphere of 10vol% hydrogen. A heat insulating powder product P with a molar ratio of Cs:W:Cl=0.33:1:0.03 was obtained.

4.0 The heat insulating powder product P was added to a toluene solvent to prepare a 10% solution, a 40wt% polymer type dispersant was added, and the nano-dispersed liquid D was obtained by grinding and dispersing with 2mm yttrium zirconium beads.

5.0 Disperse the liquid D and the acrylic resin into a 30% coating E. This coating E was applied onto the glass by a wet coating method, and dried at 80°C for half an hour to obtain a transparent heat-insulating film.
