One of the chemical preparation methods of nano powder is a chemical precipitation method, which mainly includes polyol precipitation method (a precipitation method of a polyol as a medium), a precipitation conversion method, and the like. Specifically:

1.0 Polyol precipitation method: Many inorganic compounds are soluble in polyols. Since polyols have a higher boiling point and can be greater than 100°C, nanoparticles can be prepared by high temperature hydrolysis reaction.

2.0 Precipitation conversion method: Particle growth and particle agglomeration are controlled by varying the concentration of the precipitation converter, the conversion temperature, and the surfactant depending on the solubility between the compounds. The process is short and easy to operate, but the prepared compounds are limited to a few metal oxides and hydroxides.
