Hubei Scheelite Concentrate Average Price Increased in January 2025

Recently, according to information from the official website of the Hubei Provincial Department of Natural Resources, in January 2025, the average price of 65% white tungsten concentrate in Hubei was 143,279 yuan/ton, reflecting a month-on-month increase of approximately 1.16% and a year-on-year increase of about 17.47%. The average price of 60% white tungsten concentrate was 142,279 yuan/ton, up approximately 1.17% month-on-month and 17.62% year-on-year. The average price of APT (ammonium paratungstate) was 211,912 yuan/ton, showing a month-on-month increase of about 0.86% and a year-on-year rise of approximately 17.00%. The average price of tungsten carbide powder was 311,235 yuan/ton, with a month-on-month increase of about 0.46% and a year-on-year rise of approximately 16.53%.

According to China Tungsten Online, the Chinese tungsten market maintained a stable trend in January 2025. The average price of 65% white tungsten concentrate was 143,900 yuan/ton, up 1.34% month-on-month and 18.83% year-on-year, with end-of-month quotes rising 2.11% compared to the beginning of the month. The average price of 65% black tungsten concentrate was 144,900 yuan/ton, with a month-on-month average increase of 1.33% and a year-on-year average increase of 17.80%, and end-of-month quotes up 2.10% from the start of the month. The average price of ammonium paratungstate was 212,800 yuan/ton, up 0.95% month-on-month and 16.86% year-on-year, with end-of-month quotes increasing 1.42% from the beginning of the month. The average price of tungsten powder was 318.28 yuan/kg, up 0.61% month-on-month and 16.53% year-on-year, with end-of-month quotes rising 1.27% compared to the start of the month.

In January 2025, the average price of 40%-42% molybdenum concentrate in Hubei was 3,559 yuan/ton-degree, down approximately 0.34% month-on-month but up about 9.61% year-on-year. The average price of 45%-47% molybdenum concentrate was 3,589 yuan/ton-degree, down approximately 0.33% month-on-month but up about 9.86% year-on-year.

According to China Tungsten Online, the price trend of molybdenum products in China in February 2025 remained relatively stable, with the price of molybdenum concentrate dropping by approximately 20 yuan/ton-degree, a decline of 0.56%. In terms of average prices in February, the average price of molybdenum concentrate in China was 3,566 yuan/ton-degree, down 0.89% month-on-month but up 6.99% year-on-year; the average price of molybdenum iron was 230,111 yuan/ton, down 1.19% month-on-month but up 4.27% year-on-year; and the average price of molybdenum oxide was 3,666 yuan/ton-degree, down 0.87% month-on-month but up 6.57% year-on-year.

In January 2025, the average price of 30% copper concentrate in Hubei was 19,578 yuan/ton, the average price of 65% lead concentrate was 8,649 yuan/ton, the average price of 55% zinc concentrate was 10,114 yuan/ton, the price of Au99.95 was 634.66 yuan/gram, and the average price of silver concentrate (≥1000 g/t) was 6,082 yuan/kg.
