China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association Raised Tungsten Forecast Prices for July 2024

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten prices continued to decline at the beginning of the week on July 8, 2024. 

Last week, the guiding prices from institutions and major tungsten enterprises were released, reflecting a significant downward trend that has impacted market sentiment negatively. The relatively weak demand has suppressed overall market confidence in negotiations, and there is no clear signal of a short-term halt to the price decline.

According to Chinatungsten Online, the Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA)'s tungsten forecast prices for the domestic tungsten market in July 2024 is as follows: 55% black tungsten concentrate is priced at $19,214.3/ton, down $2,357.1/ton from June 2024, a decrease of 10.9%; ammonium paratungstate (APT) is priced at $331.7/ton, down $3.2/mtu from June 2024, a decrease of 8.9%; medium particle tungsten powder is priced at $45.7/kg, down $3.1/kg from June 2024, a decrease of 6.4%.
