Chinese molybdenum prices continue to show a clear upward trend, with the price of molybdenum concentrate increasing by approximately 110 yuan per mtu, molybdenum iron by approximately 5,000 yuan per ton, and molybdenum powder by approximately 5 yuan per kilogram. In this situation, industry players are particularly concerned about the receiving and bidding conditions of downstream users such as steel companies.

In the molybdenum concentrate market, although most molybdenum mining companies have significantly increased their speculative awareness due to the continuous rise in prices of metals such as gold, silver, copper, and tungsten, limited transactions are occurring due to the low willingness of molybdenum iron merchants to accept goods.

In the molybdenum iron market, influenced by factors such as the rapid development of new productive forces and the continuous emergence of favorable news in the real estate market, steel prices have risen slightly, but the increase is small and lower than the increase in molybdenum concentrate prices. This has led to difficulties in molybdenum iron manufacturers' pricing.

In the molybdenum chemical and its products market, there is no significant change in the market situation, and there is a certain lag in the price increase of products. Currently, the prices of sodium molybdate, ammonium heptamolybdate, and molybdenum bars have increased by approximately 1,000 yuan per ton, 2,000 yuan per ton, and 5 yuan per kilogram, respectively.

In terms of news, the central bank recently issued three heavyweight notices in succession, which directly addressed: canceling the lower limit of commercial individual housing loan interest rates for first and second homes nationwide; adjusting the minimum down payment ratio for first homes to not less than 15% and for second homes not less than 25%; and reducing the interest rate on personal housing provident fund loans by 0.25 percentage points.
