Zhangyuan Tungsten Declined Long-term Contract Prices for the Second Half of March 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten price continued to be weak on March 21, 2023 when the new round of quotations from listed tungsten companies was lowered as expected, which is in line with the current basic market conditions. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the second half of March: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,692.3/ton, down $153.8/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,461.5/ton, down $153.8/ton; APT price was $306.0/mtu, down $3.5/mtu compared with the first half of this month. 

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $304.2/mtu for the second half of March, down $3.5/mtu compared with the first half of this month.

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $18,000.0/ton, down $461.5/ton compared with the first half of March.
