Holmium Oxide Price - March 13, 2023

Rare earth market quotation in China: praseodymium oxide, gadolinium oxide and holmium oxide prices continue to be weak on March 13, 2023 mainly due to the fact that magnetic material companies basically consumed inventories and most rare earth manufacturers released production capacity and basically returned to normal.

Under this situation, the spot supply in the market is slightly looser. However, in order to reduce the risk of cost inversion and to be supported by the expected development of emerging industries, some suppliers tentatively raised their quotations, for example, the price of erbium oxide was raised by about 2,000 yuan/ton.

News: According to customs data, the country exported a total of 7,391.2 tons of rare earths from January to February 2023, a decrease of 5.6% from January to February last year; while the export value was 1 billion yuan, an increase of 24.8% from January to February last year.
