Rare earth market quotation in China: praseodymium neodymium oxide and metal prices rose slightly while other products remained stable after the holiday of Mid-autumn Festival.

With the gradual increase of favorable factors, the downturn in the market has slowly dissipated, which has prompted suppliers to increase their awareness of firm quotations. According to Chinatungsten Online, the positive factors include the slow production of rare earth smelting and separation enterprises, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to guide the price of rare earth and other key products to stabilize, and the increase in profit awareness of stockholders.

In terms of news: data from the Baotou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology showed that the prices of eight rare earth products monitored in August all showed a downward trend from the previous month. The average price of rare earth carbonate was 53,375 yuan/ton, down 21.8% month-on-month and up 7.6% year-on-year; the average price of cerium oxide was 7,750 yuan/ton, down 4% month-on-month and down 15.3% year-on-year; the average price of neodymium oxide was 705,000 yuan/ton, down month-on-month 20.4%, up 13.3% year-on-year; the average price of neodymium metal was 912,500 yuan/ton, down 17.6% month-on-month, up 17.7% year-on-year; the average price of praseodymium neodymium metal was 798,800 yuan/ton, down 21.6% month-on-month and up 4.2% year-on-year.
