China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) Raised Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for September

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

The new guide prices for the first half of September from tungsten enterprises and association were mixed, indicating cautious sentiment of most market participants. 

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) raised average tungsten forecast prices for this month: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $17,692.3/ton, up $307.7/ton; APT price was $308.6/mtu, up $5.2/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $42.0/kg, up $0.5/kg compared with August. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the first half of September: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,692.3/ton, down $307.7/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,461.5/ton; down $307.7/ton; APT price was $308.6/mtu, down $0.9/mtu compared with the second half of August. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $18,153.8/ton, down $307.7/ton from the second half of last month. 

Xiamen Tungsten’s APT bid price was $307.7/mtu, up $0.9/mtu from the second half of last month.
