Rare earth market quotation in China: praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide prices edge lower on September 8, 2022 mainly affected by the lower-than-expected demand. 

Although the prices of bulk commodities such as oil prices have fallen and retreated and the demand from downstream users is lower than expected, all of which have suppressed the rise in rare earth prices to a large extent. It is proposed to establish a linkage monitoring mechanism for key raw material price departments and other good news. Most suppliers have a higher awareness of profitability, and the room for price reduction has narrowed, and even some products have begun to stop falling.

News: In the first half of 2022, China Rare Earth achieved operating income of HK$400 million, a year-on-year decrease of 25.72%, net profit attributable to the parent of HK$11.396 million, a year-on-year decrease of 21.24%, and basic earnings per share of HK$0.0049. Among them, the rare earth segment revenue was HK$268 million, a year-on-year decrease of 28%, accounting for approximately 67% of the group's total revenue.
