At the beginning of the week, the prices of praseodymium neodymium oxide and dysprosium oxide dropped slightly to around RMB 930,000/ton and RMB 2,470,000/ton, respectively. In this context, the demand of downstream users has not increased significantly, so the market transaction is still limited.

According to Chinatungsten Online, the main factors affecting the current price of rare earth raw materials are: first, in the case of limited funds, purchasers basically maintain cautious consumption; second, affected by extreme weather, rare earth smelting and separation enterprises have limited capacity release; third, some overseas countries have relatively high geopolitical risks and the global epidemic situation is still unstable, which will greatly affect China's rare earth import and export market.

In terms of news: On June 29, Northern Rare Earth intends to re-sign the "Rare Earth Concentrate Supply Contract" with its related party Baotou Steel Co., Ltd., that is, the transaction price of rare earth concentrate is planned to be adjusted to 39,189 yuan/ton excluding tax from July 4. The total transaction volume of rare earth concentrates in 2022 will not exceed 230,000 tons. After the adjustment, the total amount of daily related transactions of rare earth concentrates in 2022 is expected to be adjusted from not more than 7 billion yuan to not more than 8.6 billion yuan.
