Dysprosium Oxide Price - April 27, 2022

China’s domestic rare earth prices were partially stable, with some minor adjustments in the second half of April, 2022. Affected by the bullish and bearish factors, traders entered the market with low sentiment, resulting in slow growth of market orders and lack of motivation to increase transaction prices.

However, supported by production costs, most stockholders are still willing to maintain firm quotations. Currently, the prices of praseodymium neodymium oxide, praseodymium neodymium metal, terbium oxide and dysprosium oxide are around RMB 860,000/ton, RMB 1,060,000/ton, RMB 14,300/kg and RMB 2,600,000/ton respectively.

According to Chinatungsten Online, the main reasons for the low activity of the rare earth market are: first, due to the ongoing global epidemic, slow international logistics and high transportation costs have largely hindered automobiles, consumer electronics, The production of energy-saving electrical appliances and other industrial manufacturers is not conducive to the increase in demand for rare earths; second, in the context of the increased expectations of the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates, the prices of bulk commodities such as agricultural products and oil have been lowered, which is not conducive to the increase in rare earth prices.
