This week, praseodymium and neodymium oxide fell by 9.44% to $131,451.6/ton, praseodymium oxide fell by 5.68% to $141,935.5/ton, dysprosium oxide price fell 6.08% to $398,387.1/ton.

From the perspective of the supply side, although affected by factors such as intense epidemics in many places, frequent rainy weather, blocked overseas mine imports, high commodity prices, interviews with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and poor downstream demand, rare earth smelting and separation enterprises have slowed down the production capacity release rate. From the demand side, under the influence of factors such as the continued spread of the global epidemic, unstable situation in Russia and Ukraine, slow international logistics and transportation, and high transportation costs, the development speed of the downstream rare earth industry has slowed down slightly, resulting in consumers' enthusiasm for purchasing rare earth raw materials in the market. Generally speaking, the turnover is lower than expected, but in the long run, emerging markets still have huge demand potential for rare earth functional materials.

In terms of news: in March 2022, the price of rare earth products in Baotou City showed a downward trend by half from the previous month. The average price of rare earth carbonate was 82,375 yuan / ton, down 3.7% from the previous month and up 1.7 times year-on-year; the average price of cerium oxide was 8,750 yuan / ton, compared with the previous month. The average price of neodymium oxide was 1.113 million yuan/ton, down 4.6% month-on-month and up 62.4% year-on-year; the average price of neodymium metal was 1.381 million yuan/ton, down 4.2% month-on-month and up 59.7% year-on-year; praseodymium neodymium The average metal price was 1.268 million yuan/ton, down 4.2% month-on-month and up 73.2% year-on-year.
