China Dysprosium Oxide Price - March 19, 2021

Rare earth market quotation in China: terbium oxide price increased slightly while dysprosium oxide price edged lower in the week ended on Friday March 19, 2021 when the market was in a stalemate.

From the supply side, although the first batch of rare earth production control indicators have been raised significantly in 2021, the supply of some rare earth products is still tight due to the release of the Rare Earth Management Regulations (Draft for Comment) and the unstable political situation in Myanmar. Suppliers are less willing to sell at lower prices.

From the demand side, as the development of new energy vehicles, excavators, electronic products, inverter air conditioners and other manufacturing industries is improving, downstream users still have greater demand, but due to the current high prices of raw materials, purchasers have limited consumption.
