Rare earth market quotation in China: the latest prices of dysprosium oxide, neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide edged lower in July. In the light rare earth markets, prices of cerium oxide and cerium related products decreased greatly, mainly because of the imbalance between supply and demand caused by the large amount of spot resources and the lack of back-end consumption.

In the medium and heavy rare earth markets, manufacturers are expected to improve the supply and demand pattern. However, with the influence of off season in July, downstream market’s acceptance of speculation caused by speculation in the previous period is limited, and the market is mainly stabilized.
