Rare Earth Price - June 25, 2019

Rare earth market quotation in China: domestic rare earth price showed signs of drop with the declined influence of relevant policies for rare earth industry regulation. In the first half of this month, although sharp prices of rare earth concept kept strong, the spot market has begun to face pressure of imbalanced market supply and demand. Under the traditional off season and high prices of rare earth elements, the back-end consumer orders have decreased. 

Analysts believed that the shortage of medium- and heavy-earth rare earths will continue to intensify, mainly because the time for closed Myanmar customs has not been confirmed. While the light rare earth pattern is expected to be marginally restored, but short-term problem of oversupply still needs to be digested.
