Xiamen Tungsten’s Tungsten Guide Prices for Late October Remained Unchanged

Analysis of latest tungsten market from ChinaTungsten Online

Tungsten guide prices were released by large enterprises on Monday October 22, which showed a more conservative approach of most insiders to the outlook. The weak demand for tungsten carbide and alloy products discouraged manufacturers in the raw material side. The deadlocked supply and demand in the industry chain also made market trading thin. Given that, mainstream tungsten product prices may be difficult to rise, but are likely to decline. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten’s quotations for the second half of October: $15,538 per ton for wolframite concentrate (WO3≥65%), unchanged from the first half of this month; $15,307.7 per ton for scheelite concentrate (WO3≥65%), unchanged; $278 per mtu for ammonium paratungstate (APT), unchanged. 

Xiamen Tungsten also released its offer level for APT at $278 per mtu, up $1.7 per mtu compared with the first half of this month.
