Chinese molybdenum price remains weak adjustment this week as prices in the new round of steel biddings show no signs of rise, which greatly influences the mentality of manufacturers.

Trading volumes are fewer, plus with the decline in international ferro molybdenum and molybdenum oxide prices, market prices are difficult to rebound. In China, the market is mainly supported by tight molybdenum ore supply and therefore, ferro molybdenum market is in serious danger of cost overhang. In the short term, rebound space for molybdenum price is expected to be relatively limited.
