The tungsten Industry has become the driving force of Ganxian County economic development

The tungsten industry in Ganxian County gained the main business revenue of 6.62 billion yuan, with year-on-year growth of 26.9 percent, spurring increase in enterprises at national scale by 7.5 percentage points. Tungsten Industry has become the driving force of its county economic development.

In order to make the tungsten industry bigger and stronger, the county has make the following efforts: integrating the tungsten mines of the entire county to optimize resource allocation; fostering the growth of leading enterprises with supports such as capital, water-power supply, policy and talents; accelerate the pace of scientific and technologic innovation. At present, there are more than 10 enterprises engaged in tungsten processing gaining the annual main business income of more than 100 million yuan, among which 4 enterprises pay taxes of more than 10 million yuan.
