Method for Smelting Ferro-tungsten Alloy

The steps are firstly putting the steel filings or iron filings directly in the reactor of electric furnace and heating to 1540-1590 deg.C to make them melt, the mixture material mixed in accordance with a specific proportion of concentrate tungsten ore, aluminium grains and sodium nitrate is added in the reactor with speed of 70-119 kg/min.sqm, continuing to heat while charging to make the furnace temp. rise to 2500-3000 deg.C, after charging, continuously replenishing heat to the fusant to make the temp. of cinder above its melting point for 7-20 min.,l stopping heating to make the fusant in furnace nuturally cool to tapping. The advantages are short of smelting course, simple and applied method, low energy consumption, having no need of ignitor and economizing reducer.
